Angela Cory, born in Sydney, started in Australian punk bands, fronted the rockabilly group The Jukes, and later played with China’s blues/soul band BuZuiBuGui (不醉不归). After five years in China and collaborations with UK DJ Dsk, she moved to Berlin in 2010, exploring punk, rock, and blues. After a break in film and theater, she returned to Berlin’s blues scene in 2022 (working together with Micha Mass, Jan Hirte, Matthias Falkenau)

Mauro Pandolfino, guitarist and composer from Rome. His eclectic musical tastes span rock, punk, jazz, electronic, noise and experimental genres. Mauro has collaborated with notable artists such as Dave Stewart, Saint Lu, Jesper Munk, Soul Thrivers (Adam Sikora & Dvora Davis), Louey Moss, Big Joe Stolle, Apfeltraum, TB Session Band, while also making waves in the Afro music scene, collaborations with Batila (Ange Da Costa) Afrikadelle (Arcadius Divadi), Carlos Dalelane. His creative output includes analog and digital electronic compositions, alternative songs, and free-form experimental music with few albums and singles published.

In 2023, Angela and Mauro formed The Shallaras, uniting their love for bands like The Velvet Underground and The Cramps. Their sound fuses rhythm & blues with 50s/60s rock ‘n’ roll, delivering high-energy performances.
